Adriane Little, Concept and Editing, is a conceptual artist and educator living in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Her studio practice originates from the perspective of photographic processes, but also crosses media and theoretical positions. Her visual work and research are supported by ideas that are at the intersection of trauma and ritual most often through an interest in the absence of the maternal body. Her recent work turns to literature as a source of visualization. She is Associate Professor of Photography and Intermedia at Western Michigan University.
