This poem was first featured in the 2010 Blazevox print book Apparition Poems. It was also featured in Upstairs at Duroc and The Seattle Star. Here, Fieled reads #1488 at the Eris Temple in Philadelphia.

Adam Fieled is a poet, musician, and critic based in Philadelphia. His books include Posit (Dusie Press 2007). Beams (Blazevox, 2007), Opera Bufa (Otoliths, 2007), When You Bit… (Otoliths, 2008), Chimes (Blazevox, 2010), Equations (Blue & Yellow Dog Press, 2011), and Cheltenham (Blazevox 2012), and he has work in Jacket, The Argotist Online, Great Works, Tears in the Fence, and others. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, he also holds an MFA from New England College and an MA from Temple University where he held the University Fellowship.
