Dena Rash Guzman “32 Warhol”

by

Dena Rash Guzman wrote 32 Warhol in 2011, and asked long-time compatriot, Jerimiah Whitlock and Bjorn Wahlstrom to collaborate with her on the short film. It has since been shown at poem-film festivals, on various literary websites, and was seen at the opening of the Inspire Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada in December 2013. Guzman is the author of Life Cycle – Poems (Dog On A Chain Press, 2013.) She lives in the forest outside Portland, Oregon, where she works as a beekeeper and writer. Wahlstrom translated Guzman’s poem from English to German, and narrates in the film. He is a Swedish poet and publisher living in Hong Kong. Whitlock is a cinephile working out of Austin, Texas via Colorado.
